Default Access versus SQL

    Hi,

Just a query as to when one should use a SQL database instead of an Access one. If there isn't too much data being stored is Access sufficient? What other benefits can I get from SQL.

Thanks in advance.

    Default RE: Access versus SQL

Access is best used for small trafic sites.
Don't run all your site content from it!

I mainly use it for polls, email lists etc.
It's limited to around 20-30 connections at one time.

SQL however, can handle as many connections as the hardware supports... eg lots!

If you can't afford SQL hosting why not try a MySQL & PHP setup..
