Default Not a valid alias name

Why do I keeep getting this error message in Access 2000. I do not understand it's meaning, are their any fixes or ways around it. Usually this occurs when a query queries a query to return new records or values. I did not get this in the 97 version.
That would make me think that you've defined an alias for a table or column that Access isn't happy with, probably because it's a reserverd word. For example, in this query:

SELECT sender AS from FROM email

the column "sender" is aliased as "from". Since "from" is a reserved word, this query is invalid and would probably throw the error you describe.

Dunc
