What sort of a question is this??

what has a quesystring have to do with the way your table is defined

to answer that question YES

but FYI a querystring has NOTHING to do with the composite PKs

i think you have just not worded your question right

Ok- Sorry for the confusion. I know how to do this with one field, but..
I have to display the results of a query, the user chooses a record (which are unique by way of a 3 field composite PK), and the info from the chosen record is passed to another page where the user can do an update. What would be the best method to accomplish this?
Well you can pass it as a QS but if that is somethign you do not what the user to see then you could save it in a hidden text box when the user clicks update and then submit that form to that update page

or session variables....i guess it all depends on what you want to do...but like you mentioned you can do it with a QS
