I&#039m having the following problem. An ASP page connecting to a MSA 97 database works fine on my windows95 machine running PWS, but when I transferred it over to our IIS4 server, i got "error &#039 80040e21&#039". Now, i am using a dsn-less connection and the DB is in the same directory both times. I have figured out the error is eminating from the "objConnection.CursorLocation" property.

After reading the article about using the metadata for ado, I checked both machines, and my win95/PWS machine has the "msado20.tlb" file in the system, but the IIS machine does not. Could it be that the IIS machine has a version of ADO this doesn&#039t have certain capabilities?

Thanks, Anthony
