    Default DATE PROBLEM

    client and server regional and date settings identical... day/month/year however I get <BR><BR>Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error &#039;80040e07&#039; <BR><BR>[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Error converting data type varchar to datetime.<BR><BR>when I try and enter DMY (ie 23/01/2000) to the server via the web page ????? .. what have I missed .. tried setdateformat in the storedprocedure .. still no luck <BR>

    No idea what you are doing, because you have not included any code, but I suggest that you should apply the CDate function to any variable that you are passing to a database. It makes sure that the date is correctly coverted.
