Default Type Mismatch

    I'm trying to do a for loop where I step along a date at a time using a datevalue in a variable called expecteddate, see below

for ii = 0 to aa-1
if datevalue(bookedarray(ii)) <> datevalue(dateexpected) then
nextfreedate=bookedarray(ii)
end if
dateexpected=dateexpected+1
next

It doesn;t like me incrementing the dateexpected value by 1. it comes up with a type mismatch error. How do I resolve this?

I know you lot will not fail me.

    This makes no sense...

are you trying to increment the value inside the array, or just it's counter? WHAT is in dateexpected.. is it an integer? It needs to be.
