I am connecting to a database using the following DSN-less connection:
<%
Dim Conn, dbPath
dbPath = "\cwalkerntqmdb.mdb"
Set Conn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
Conn.Op en "PROVIDER=MICROSOFT.JET.OLEDB.4.0;DATA SOURCE=" & dbPath &";Jet OLEDB:Database Password=reports;reports",""
%>

The database is password protected, IE when you open it using Access you have to enter a password before you can see the file.

I get the following error when I try to make a connection.

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'

The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file '\cwalkerntqmdb.mdb'. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.

Since I know the file is not opened by another user that would lead me to believe that I don't have permission to view the data. The mdb file is on another machine, but I set the IUSR account up on the machine with the mdb and gave it access to read/write/delete on the database so I don't think that would be the problem. I also checked to make sure that the passwords for the IUSR account were synched between the two machines.

Can anyone help me with a next step to take to rectify this situation?

Thanks in advance!
