I have a client who has formulas built into an excel spreadsheet and that person wants to be able to have new values added to it so that the formulas will generate new info. Currently, I am using a DSN for the connection and a range to query the spreadsheet. However, when I try to write to this specific spreadsheet (I have had no problem with others) I get a "Numeric field overflow." error... I am not even trying to write numeric data to the spreadsheet at the moment.. All of the columns are of the same datatype and I am out of ideas. So, if anyone could think up a possibility for this I'd be very gracious to hear one :o)

Michael Fierro
