Default Application data and Connections

    I think I'm a bit confused:
is it a terribly good thing, or a terribly bad thing to put an Open Connection or Command object into an Application variable?

I've seend connection strings in Application variables, and Access creates pages which store Open Connections into Session variables, but is what I mentioned good or bad practice?

    Default Bad!

It's bad practice. You should not store any objects in the application or session variables - I won't go into full details here because my mind's a bit of a blank atm. If you search this site, you'll be able to find plenty of posts and articles on the subject.
You can put arrays or strings in application and session variables but not objects.
:) Hope that was of some help.
K.
