Default File System Objects

I have read and have seen some examples on writing Guest Book functionalities using file system object. The examples used the textstream object to read the entries from existing file. Then the file system object recreates the file, overwriting the existing file, writing the new entries, and then writes out the old entries (from textstream).

During this overwriting or recreating of files, how does it handle an instance where more than one person signs the guest book at the same time? I hope the question made sense. Thanks.

One thing you can do - use Application.Lock and Application.UnLock before and after you write to the text file... This will let only one person access the text file at a time.
