We have incorporated Richard Chisolm's technique for viewing Microsoft Access reports into our website with much success. However, if the user clicks the Browser STOP button before the snapshot report is finished created, a msaccess.exe task hangs on the server and is un-killable. We have to reboot the server to get rid of it. We are using VBScript to perform the snapshot creation not VBA. Do I need to have this as a shelled application so the user can not interrupt the process? We are using Windows NT not 2000 so Tom Travers' update did not help us. Any ideas? The user didn't like "don't press the STOP button".
