Default Memo field in Access 2000

    Hi there,

Just a quick check from the DB experts out there - what is the maximum size of characters that Memo field can hold in Access 2000. Also is it possible to insert line breaks in it or do I have to hardcode HTML if I want to achieve that..?

Thanks

    Number of characters in a Memo field:

65,535 when entering data through the user interface;
1 gigabyte when entering data programmatically.

I am pretty sure it accepts Carriage Returns. Regular text fields accept carriage returns, so it would surprise me if the Memo field didn't.
