    Default Delaying a page load

How can I delay a page's load when I am using a redirect. For example, I am redirecting from to and there is a split second where it shows I want to delay that so the user can see that for maybe 3 sec or so. Is this possible and if so how? Thanks in advance.

Default meta tags to the rescue

just insert this in your &#060;head&#062;&#060;/head&#062; somewhere.<BR><BR>&#060;META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT= "10; URL=filename.html"&#062;<BR><BR>the "content" being the number of seconds it waits until the next page is pulled. url...painfully obvious.<BR><BR>just a couple things to keep in mind: win3.1 won&#039;t start the countdown until the first page is loaded; everyone else begins the countdown once the meta tage is loaded.<BR>this can be detrimental because people with an extremly fast connection have to sit and stare at the screen longer than 14.4k modem users would. enjoy.<BR>-funk<BR>
