    Default Database stuff.....

    Do you have to use a .mdb database file or can you use other databases with ASP and connect using ADO and SQL and the other things. I've seen Works Database and a program called FileMaker Pro.

    you can use any ODBC compliant database with ASP - when you install one, it&#039;ll add it&#039;s drivers to your Data Sources Applet in the control panel. I started out using Lotus smart office&#039;s database (can&#039;t even remember what it&#039;s called). I also occassionally use mySQL<BR><BR>not every server has the drivers installed though - Access and SQL Server are the most common. FoxPro and paradox drivers are also installed with Windows, along with Excel. but basically, anything ODBC is fine<BR><BR>j
