    Default Getting Enterprise Manager

I'm new to using SQL Server. I've got a db setup on a remote machine, my hosting provider. They tell me that the only way to manage the database is to use Enterprise Manager. Is there a way to get Enterprise Manager other than buying a whole copy of SQL Server? I'm looking for strictly legit options, although I'd like to keep costs to a minimum. Any ideas?

well, it&#039;s not the only weay - you *can* control much of the DB through SQL interfaces. however, there is a trial version of SQL Server available - last time i checked it was 120 day - so loads of time.<BR><BR>j
