Default help: open a window

    My have one asp page called myPage.asp. On this page, there is a link to open a text file (a letter)in a new window. Every time a new user access to this page, I insert his name into the text file.

My problem is :
First, I access myPage.asp as user A , open the text file, find userA's name is on the letter;
then I log out, in the same browser window to access myPage.asp as another user B. This time I find the name on the letter is not user B's, but user A's.

If I close the browser and open a new one, access myPage.asp as User B, open the letter, I will find the correct name.

Why the child window cannot open the updated file?

Anybody knows why?

    It's being read from the user's cache, more than likely... do you see the new information when you click refresh on your browser?
