    Default queries in MYSQL

    bit of a newbie to MYSQL so heres my question<BR>hope some one can help<BR>in access you have queries which are basically sql statements but in your code you can have selec * from qryBlah and access does the work. <BR>In sql server then the equivalent is a view.<BR><BR>is there any similar thing in mySQL - i mean i can see a query tab in the table view(when using mysqlfront - which,by the way is a fantastic tool - got it from download.com) but is it possible to call that query from code asp or php ie<BR>select * from myQuery where id=1 <BR>where myQuery could be a huge sql statement... <BR><BR>or do you have to put the raw sql into the phpasp ???<BR><BR>any help would be cool <BR>thanks <BR>tim<BR>
