I have a txtbox (int as datatype) on a frm. Users are expected to input a money value (an estimated money value)into this txtbox. I want them to only be able to input a "whole" number (for ex 102 not 102,34) , not a decimal value. Even if I make the field integer, a value like 100,52 is written to the SQL database as 10052. The value 100.52 is correctly written as 101. I don't even want users to input decimal values, and will give them a message stating this, but knowing users some of them will still try and then my db will me a mess (especially if they use the comma). I am new to asp's and would really appreciate any help in this matter. Even an if statement that I can try would help a lot. Or even an example of a regular expression.
