I've got some code that worked great while it was a VB executable. I've just copied the code to an Active X Dll project and now getting error: "ActiveX Component Can't Create Object"
I've read the MS KB article and given Everyone Read/Write permissions to the system32 dir & to the dll in question, no luck.
Here's the code:
Public Property Let ConvertThis(whichFile As String)
Dim Word As Object, x As Variant
Set Word = CreateObject("Word.Application")
Word.Visible = False
Word.Documents.Open whichFile
whichFile = Replace(whichFile, ".doc", ".htm")
whichFile = Replace(whichFile, ".rtf", ".htm")
Word.ActiveDocument.SaveAs FileName:=whichFile, FileFormat:=wdFormatHTML
Word.Documents.Close
Word.Quit
Set Word = Nothing
End Property

I'm trying to write a component that will convert .doc to .html when called from ASP. Anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong here?
