    Default ASP or CGI?

I am in the process of deciding whether to use CGI or ASP for a large database project. What advantages does ASP have over CGI and vice versa? How do they compare when under pressure (big traffic and large amounts of data)? If anyone can help I&#039ll be eternally gratefull.

    Default RE: ASP or CGI?

In terms of use of server resources, efficiency, and speed, ASP is the way to go. Each CGI script requires creates a new instance which consumes memory resources. The ASP.dll ISAPI filter remains in memory until removed from the IIS MMC or the application is closed.
