I have been asked to recreate some asp pages that were generated from Frontpage - the goal is to remove all the FP code and webbot components, and to rewrite the code much cleaner. My problem is, how do you find DSN and database name in all that auto generated FP code? The FP code accesses an access database on the server. I found this line in the FP code:

s-dataconnection="xxxxx" b-tableformat="FALSE"

I am assuming that xxxxx is either the database name or the dsn. I tried the following new code with no luck

Set objConn = Server.CreateObject ("ADODB.Connection")
Set objRS = Server.CreateObject ("ADODB.RecordSet")
strConnection = "DSN=xxxxx;Database=xxxxx;"
objConn.Open strConnection

does anyone know how I can find the DSN and Database name? I am working remotely and have ftp access to the FP asp files and the database file.

Thanks in advance!
