but not like there are a lot of FAQs i want to post but in this regard a few days ago Scott posted in the Advanced forum..i think.. asking anyone if they were willing to write an FAQ or article about this....i saw it after maybe a day and i mailed him telling him i will write one if no one else had started working on it...no reply so i assumed he had someone else working on it
I have permissions, but I'm nowhere near as dedicated as Bill is. I've only posted one (Scott posted the other one for me), but it comes in handy for times like this where you want to put one on yourself (and saves us the time of reading your whining to Scott <grin>).<BR><BR>I'm sure he'd let you... why not email him?
Go to the project properties in your IIS<BR><BR>then directory security -> then edit the authentication -> UNCHECK Anonymous Access and only allow NT Authentication<BR><BR>that should do it for you

start -> programs -> NT4 Option Pack -> MS Personal web server -> Internet service manager<BR><BR>we basically you need the Internet service manager may not be the same path like i showed you but that is how it is on my machine.<BR><BR>there you look for the project you are working on...(expand ALL the trees if you have to) then right click then properties
