Default Catching Errors

I am using a command object to issue and insert. I want to catch an error for a -803 (Duplicate Rows). At the cmd.Execute statement I automatically get Redirected to a new page with an ODBC/InterSolve error with duplicate index message. How do I catch the error and do my own processing. An example would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

    Default RE: Catching Errors

Are you using ASP 2.0 or 3.0? If you are using ASP 3.0 you can use the intrinsic ASPError object. See:

If you are using ASP 2.0 (or this will work with ASP 3.0) you can use the On Error Resume NExt (assuming you are using VBScript as your server side scripting language).
