I am pulling some data from a table and displaying the results in a HTML table... no prob. One column in my recordset is a memo field. Here's my problem: Sometimes the words in my recordset/memo field exceed the length of the table data <TD WIDTH> tag and the table automatically gets resized to fit the text. It's not a problem if the words have spaces in between them (like normal sentences) but sometimes a word is lloooooonnngg without a space and in this case it automatically extends the table width and disrupts the layout of the table regardless of the width setting!! (I have grafx that depend on a set width of the table). What does this have to do with ASP? Well, do I need to write a function that checks "chunks" of words in my memo field and splits a word up with a space if it is over a certain size or is there a setting in HTML that will automatically wrap the word even if there are no spaces in it???? A function that checks for chunks of data could get pretty hairy and seems like over kill but if there is no other way than so be it. HHEEELLPPP!!!!
