When querting a database does it matter what flavour of SQL I use.Can I use general SQL with all databases, or can should I be using dbms specific SQL, T-SQL for SQL Server PLSQL for Oracle 8i. Or am I just a little confused.

All types of SQL are equal, but some are more equal than others...<BR><BR>In other words SQL is a standard language with lots of irritating variations. I know this doesn&#039;t help much, but basically, they are all the same, and if your query works and doesn&#039;t take too long to run, then why worry?
