i am making 2 thumbnails using wshost.<BR>one at 310x310 then a tumbnail of it 70x70..<BR>trouble is the when the script goes to make the second the file is not there yet. if i wait a few seconds it will be - which is less expensve than to make two files from say... a 20mb psd file.

I found that subject title when I started typing Fre...<BR><BR>Meaning that I've answered this very topic sometime in last 2 or 3 weeks.<BR><BR>Anyway, normally I wouldn't suggest this, but I think you make a good case for trying it: http://www.ServerObjects.com indeed has a free component that will let you do this.<BR><BR>I *do* hope that you are making these thumbnails and then storing them back on the server, not just sending them to the browser! <BR><BR>
yes, im uploading batches of files and generating tumbnails of many file types, .gif, .ai, .psd, .mpg whatever and storing the image and the thumnials on the server.<BR><BR>it works fine execept i want to make two and the script wants to make the second thumnail before the first even finds its way to the drive.<BR>
