    Default string handling with VBscript

    I want to extract the choices made from a multiple select list using vbscript. how would i do this.

    when making selections in a multiple list box, they are but in a comma delimited string, in order to separate them, you must split them into an array. something like the following:<BR><BR>myArray=split(request("choices") ,",")<BR>to see if this works, do a <BR>Response.Write myArray(0)

    How do i find the length of the array. ie, how many values were split?

    use the Ubound function, there is a really good tutorial on vbscript, just click on the vbscript reference link on the left side of the page<BR><BR><BR>mj
