## Format for %

I want to format a number to show as a percentage.<BR><BR>Don&#039;t remember the correct code.<BR><BR>FormatNumber(??(oRS("fieldname")))??? ??<BR><BR>

From the Vbscript link on the left of the messageboard:<BR><BR>Dim MyPercent<BR>MyPercent = FormatPercent(2/32) &#039; MyPercent contains 6.25%.

It&#039;s not really very clever as all it does is take the result of the fraction you put in, multiply by 100 and put a % mark on the end.<BR><BR>So MyPercent =(2/3)*100 & "%"<BR>is the same as<BR>MyPercent = FormatPercent(2/32)

right now the numbers are populated as 0.24, don&#039;t you need to use the formatnumber function inorder to change that to 24%??
