Default checkboxes

I am creating a form where a user is to update a particular record. This particular record's individual values have been posted into the appropriate input boxes, where than can be edited and then re-submitted. Because I have several Yes/No field types in my database, I am using checkboxes. Without having to write an IF statement assigning a value of "checked" in the '<input type="checkbox" value="on" checked>' reference is there any way I can post the appropriate true/false data to a checkbox?

Thanks

Hi,

Before I was alos looking for this, but the only way I know is using the IF-statement. Here's my solution, which works fine for me :

<input type="checkbox" name="ONOFF_Line" value="<%Response.Write(rsADO("OnOff_Line"))% >" <%If rsAdo("OnOff_Line") = True Then Response.Write("Checked")%>

Sven Cipido
