    Default Provider Error with ADO-Recordset

    Hi everybody,<BR><BR>Im not very familar with the NT Server administration. iow i have nearly nothing to do with it. i wrote an ASP application that runs well on my PWS (NT WS Platform)<BR>i have uploaded all files to a IIS directory and installed the ODBC source. From this point every thing should run well, but after I try to open a ADODB.Recordset I get the following error.<BR><BR>Provider error &#039 80040154&#039 <BR>Class not registered <BR>/heartattack/killme.asp, line 21 <BR><BR>Is it possible that ADO is not installed on the NT Server? The guys from NT Administration told me, that they have installed everything that was available.<BR><BR>and i haven&#039t fugured out how I can get explanations to this error messages. is there anywhere a database or something?<BR><BR>TIA<BR><BR> Oliver

    Oliver,<BR><BR>What is the exact line that this refers to? Sounds like they don&#039t have MSDAC installed properly to me, but I could be wrong.
