Default Quick Question

Can anyone point me to a product/technique/tutorial that will create an application simular to the one yahoo uses to compose mail? Something that looks like a standard HTML <textarea> but has controls that will allow the user to bold, underline, and basically format text that will be eventially inserted into a database.

Thanks for your help.

What you want can be found here: http://webfx.eae.net
Look for the rich text editor...

It&#039s using advanced DHTML features and makes a real html document editable using javascript code. It is possible because of the new feature of IE 5 (document.designMode = "On";) which allows you to make any html document editable. Then you can post the html content to a database.

If you need a cross browser solution, look somewhere else! Maybe a java applet solution...
