I&#039m looking through the code in the IBuySpy example, and notice they use the following to format currency values:

cost = System.String.Format("{0:C}", myProductDetails.UnitCost)

I&#039ve also seen this {0:C} notation used elsewhere but can find little documentation on it. The only documentation In can find suggests that the code grabs the currency type from the server and displays it accordingly. Our server control panel->regional settings are set to use GB pounds though (£) and yet the code is displaying US dollars ($).

Can anyone clear up exactly what is happening or going wrong, and if possible give a full explanation of what else can be used in this anotation.

Thanks.
