I have a password protected site that uses an Access db and an includes on each page to check that the user has logged in properly. I made a modification, with a lot of help from the folks here, thank you, to show who is logged into the site. This was done by adding a field to the db called loggedin with a data type of yes/no. That's working fine. Now the next challenge is to log that user out of the site and change the value in the db field logged in from yes to no. I have considered a new window that opens on unload for each page that executes the code to change the value in the db. That seems "clunky" to me and I'm looking for other thoughts. Anyone have a more elegant solution?
