Default IXSSO errors

    Hi,
I am working on the MS index server.I am using the IXSSO object in my asp file for all my search operations. The Index server dosent support some string formats like ()!@ etc. and outputs nasty errors if such strings are entered. In order to handle them in my ASP file, I have tried to use &#039On Error Resume Next&#039 statement and the Err Object. But the err.number is always zero(inspite an error). In short,How do I trap the IXSSO errors? Please help.

I&#039m not really sure how that object works, but in ADO there is an Errors collection as part of the ADO.Connection object. I use this pseudocode to trap ADO errors.

If adConnection.Errors.Count > 0 Then
...
End If

Try seeing if the IXSSO has a similar collection.
