How do I return a recordset from a VBScript function? I imagine it is possible returning is directly, but also using a parameter passed by reference.

    Default What exactly are you trying to do?

    I don't believe you can. You can create a global conn object, and recordset, and set the values inside a sub, but I do not believe that you can pass a recordset between subs without a global recordset....

eg:
<%
strConnect= "Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)}; DBQ=" & server.mappath("database.mdb")
set ObjConn=Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
sub test ()
SQL = "select * from table"
set objrec = objconn.execute(SQL)
end sub

dim objrec
objconn.open strconnect
test
response.write(objrec.fields (0).value)
objconn.close

%>

-- Whol
