Default Date INSERT problem

Please help. What could be wrong with the following in my ASP
page:
INSERT INTO Act (Name, From, To) VALUES (&#039andrew&#039,&#039 20/12/2000&#039,&#039 29/12/2000&#039). This works if I leave out the (Name, From, To) but I need to put this in since I have an AutoNumber Column in the Table. I get a &#039Syntax error in INSERT INTO statement&#039 error. (MS Access Database)

    Default Use #'s on Dates

Strings get single quotes around them, but perhaps use # instead for dates.

Best regards,
-Paul

J. Paul Schmidt, MBA
Databases on the Web
