    Hi<BR><BR>I had 2 forms which user had to submit .one after other .form1 populates table 1 and form2 populate table 2 in sqlserver.<BR>My question if user submits one form and stop submiting other form i should not populate data in table1. I need to know how to do it in asp ..Its like commit table1 only if table2 is populated.<BR><BR>Thanks in Advance.

    When form 1 is submitted, does the user go directly to form 2? If so, then one way I can think of to do this would be to capture all of form 1&#039s values and place them as hidden form values for form 2. Then, when form 2 is submitted, you can grab the values from form 1 and put those in table 1.<BR><BR>This way, you only put the values into table 1 after you have confirmed that they submitted form 2.
