    Default Secure SQL Server Passwords

I&#039m trying to setup my site in such a way that the connection string that I&#039m using to access SQL Server isn&#039t visible through my scripts, even if someone were to get access to the script source via intrusion. <BR><BR>I thought of using a compiled VB object that would encapsulate the process of making a DB connection and return the ADO connection object, but the .ConnectionString property still makes the DB password readable. <BR><BR>I guess the point is to make the DB a *little* more secure even if someone were to accidentially get an error or something that dumped my connection string. If anyone has addressed this issue in the past, I&#039d just like some general guidance on the best practices for keeping your SQL server data secure!

Use the Script Encoder by Microsoft.
