    Default JS error

    I have a combo box on my form.. and validating the client side with Java script I used<BR>if myform.combo.value == "something" .....<BR>....<BR>It works fine with IE.. but not with Netscape.<BR>How can I tackle this on Netscape browser.<BR>Thanks for any help in advance

    I think with Netscape, you have to reference the ancestors:<BR><BR>if (document.myform.combo.value == "something") <BR><BR>Let me know if that solves your problem.<BR><BR>ginger
