Default Redirection problem

    I am having a redirection problem.
The redirection works in both internet explorer as well as netscape.
But when I use "save link as/save target as" on the right click of the link it does not download the correct file in netscape browser. Instead it downloads the redirecting file in netscape.
It works correctly in the IE browser. Instead of downloading the .html file it downloads the countredirect.asp file

first file linking.asp
---------------

<HTML>
<HEAD>
&# 060;META NAME="GENERATOR" Content="Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0">
<TITLE></TITLE>
</HEAD>
<BODY>

<P&#062 ;<% xURL = "http://travel.state.gov/visa_bulletin.html"
URL = "/Sections/sReports/countRedirect.asp?f_URL=" & xURL
Response.Write("<td>")
Respon se.Write("<a href = &#039" & URL & "&#039>")
Response.Write("link</a>")
Response.Write("</td>")
%>
</p>
</BODY>
</HTML>
-----------------end of file
second file countredirect.asp

<html>&#060 ;head><title></title></head><body>

&#039 QueryString Variables Used
URL = request("f_URL")
response.redirect(URL)
%&#0 62;

</body></html>
--------------end of second file

    I am surprised that it works at all given that you write html content and then try to redirect. This usually does not work (it should spit an error that the headers have already been written).

In any case, when you saved the file in netscape, did you try opening it with notepad? I often have the problem in IE even where I go to save a file and it assumes I want to have it named .asp, so I just change it to htm
