Show us your code on HOW you're accessing Java from VB. THere's probably an error in there... I've done what you're saying all the time.<BR><BR>PS Why not advise to use MS' J++? You're using VB, so we know you're on a windows platform. Just curious.
I don’t have any repulsion for the Microsoft products. But the situation is like that. One of our clients came to us with their project asked us to provide the extra features to that existing project. The project was using java. Now we can’t shift to Microsoft java, but we have to use those classes. <BR>Steve, I think you got the point why I said in my question. Coming to the problem. The code is working fine if I am calling the Microsoft java class. But the same code is not working for sun java class. What I did was, I placed the MS java class in trustlib directory as given in help and I called that class from the COM component its working fine but when I replaced it by sun java class its not working. I don’t know why its not working? If u or any can explain its great help to me. <BR>
