## RE: adding two strings into one

in thinking about it, my situation is a little more complicated then that. i want the same thing but
b = "this, is, not, fun"
c = "i, agree, with, you"

i need a to equal to b + c with a comma between b & c

## regardless, more to it.....

i have the value of a being passed to a js funtion. that var is newFields. now i want to split the value of newFields into two new vars textFields and LogicFields. As of now, newFields is equal to "one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight") I want textFiels equal to the first four values and i want LogicFields equal to the remaining four values.
Ex. textFields needs to be equal to "one, two, three, four"
LogicFields needs to be equal to "five, six, seven, eight"

IS THIS CORRECT:
var textFields = newFields.splice(0,4)
var LogicFields = newFields.splice(4,4)

i know something is wrong cuz i keep getting an "object doesn&#039t support this property or method" error
