Default Database search, ordering by relavence

    Hi there

I need to search 2 fields in a table, the first called "heading" and the next a memo field.
Is there a way of ordering the results according to relavence.

eg.
I want to search for "milk". If "milk" appears in the heading field, then the relavence is greater then it appearing in the memo field. Also, if "milk" appears 2 times in the memo, then it has greater relavence then a different record that has milk once.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Default warning, if u r ..

let&#039s say, u make a rs, and examine records using string functions to decide the order, which is one of the ways of deciding relevance, and if in the future u will have lots of records then your script will time out. that was my experiance with relevance queries , i made for a shop.

though there may be smarter ways of doing the same
