At this moment I am using the POST method to submit all my date from page 1 to page 2 to page 3 and to the database. This means every page contains a <FORM METHOD="POST"> and on the next page a list of varX = request.form(X). This works perfect.
Now I wondering if it is not better to replace this with Session variables. I always heard that Session variables should be avoided if possible. But I am not sure why.

Can somebody explain to me how the POST method creates and destroys variables. Do they stay in the server-memory untill the session is ended or are they destroyed upon request.form(X)? What is more server-intensive POST or Session-variables??
