Default formatcurrency() problem

    i use the formatcurrency() function repeadetly in my application and it works fine as long as i am on my own local server. But when i put the application online the curency shows $&#039s instead of my own local currency Fl.
I can understand that the problem is the the server has a us version software installed and i have the Dutch version, but does anyone know a easy way to get around this and to get back the Fl&#039s troughout the whole application ?

Thanks....
