    I am really new to ASP and was wondering what DSN is?

    I think it stands for Data Source Name.<BR><BR>You can create a DSN to manage the connections to your database and refer to it in your ASP pages by it&#039s name.<BR><BR>For example, if I create a DSN called student and point it at my database called dataMonster.mdb, then when I want to open a connection to the database I can do it thusly:<BR><BR>conValidConnection.Open ("DSN=student")<BR><BR>There should be articles aplently re: how to create a system DSN.
