you'd need to use a window.open command in client-side script to open a windows which calls the database script, then closes itself. reasonably easy - as long as the user isn't a very quick mouser - in which case they'll kill your spawned window before it has time to request the .asp, and curse you forever more, since that's the sort of thing warez sites and stuff use to keep your eyes on their advertising (some i've blundered into have opened literally 25 windows or more)<BR><BR>j
thank for responding<BR>the window in opened by <form ... target="_blank"> and display customers with their adresses that have to receive a letter, the administrator must print all the adresses in local printer.<BR>before closing the window(on unload) the application must confirm the changes and execute the query(code asp on server).<BR>
i don't want to open a new window (it will need to paas arguments to); now i open an asp page that display customers information to be and execute query (next time those cutomers won't be displayed) but the is how if the admin don't print the informations. those informations will be loss<BR>i hope that you understand me!!
