    Default Include file--urgent!!!

    Hello,<BR> i am using include file to connect to databse, this include file resides on some other site. so i am calling that include file using the following syntax,<BR>&#060;!--#include file="" --&#062; <BR>but i am getting file not found error but the file is very much there.<BR>i tried with <BR>&#060;!--#include virtual="" --&#062; <BR>still it throws "HTTP 500 Internal server error".<BR><BR>can anyone give me the solution.<BR><BR>Thanks,<BR>Keerthi<BR><BR>

    Default Sorry - don't know the answer but...

    Don&#039t call include files .inc for security reasons.<BR><BR>If you get an error, anyone browsing will see an "error in file"<BR><BR>If they then type the url to the inc file it will display the include file text and, hence, will show them the path to your database.<BR><BR>John

    dont type the URL in the file= line. instead type the directory path. file="connection/" <BR>Yes, that&#039s a forward slash, mine works that way.
