Default Response.Write Vs. HTML Tags

I am developing an ASP Application. I can generate the HTML content using response.write and using the HTML tags as shown below.

<% For i = 0 to 5
Response.Write "Number" & i & "=" & i & "
"
Next
%>

or

<% For i = 0 to 5 %>
Number <%=i%> = <%=i%>

<% Next %>

Out of the above t, which one is the most effective. Using which option the web pages will be loaded comparitively faster. This is just an example. So please help me out.

in general, you should keep the number of delimiters (<%%>) to a bare minimum (which is not to say it wouldn&#039t be better to drop out of &#039ASP mode&#039 for a large amount of HTML, but if you&#039re doing a lot of switching, cut it down and use response.write

j
