I am a new user to ASP. I was wondering on whether or not there was a way of disabling the source code of an ASP page when a user views it from within a browser.

>> Vipul

What you mean, view your code within the browser? I dont get you...view the result html? Or do you mean view the asp code like it resides nt he server? There just was a discussion about the ::data$ thing...
And btw: If you have such a question, why dont you go to the asp forum, why you posting that under advanced? And so long YOU are asking here already, you are not a beginner in asp...

The user can only view the result HTML code that the ASP code generates and not the ACTUAL ASP code itself. So the ASP code is protected.
